What We Believe

As a church, these are the core Biblical doctrines to which we hold.

The Triune God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ was truly God and truly man.
We believe He came down from heaven and was born of a virgin.
We believe He lived a sinless life, was crucified, buried, and bodily rose again for our justification.
We believe He ascended back into heaven.
We believe He will one day return for His own.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God.
We believe He is at work in the world, convicting and regenerating sinners.
We believe He indwells and equips all believers, guaranteeing their eternal life.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the divinely-inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God.
We believe the Bible is the true and final authority on all matters of which it speaks.

Creation

We believe God created everything out of nothing in six literal days, resting on the seventh.

Mankind

We believe all people are made in the image of God, therefore, each is of infinite worth.
We believe Adam rebelled against God and that his sin-nature is passed down to all of mankind.
We believe all people are sinners in need of salvation through faith alone in Christ alone.

Salvation

We believe salvation is by God's grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, for the glory of God alone.

Human Sexuality

We believe human sexuality is a beautiful thing to be enjoyed within a marriage between one man and one woman.

Eternity

We believe people were created by God to exist forever.
We believe the lost will spend eternity in a literal place of torment called hell.
We believe the redeemed will spend eternity in a literal heaven, in the glorious presence of God himself.
